Tonight's Shopping Trip

I went to Albertsons in Ontario tonight and they are well stocked and ready to go. The only thing they were out of was the dipped granola bars but I was able to get a raincheck. They had plenty of oatmeal and granola bars. We (3 of us) bought a lot and they still had plenty left. I chatted with the manager stocking the shelves and he said that a shipment was coming in tonight so everything should be on the shelves in the morning. They also had a clearence bin in front and were able to score 2 tubes of free toothpaste, 1 tube of $0.25 toothpaste, a lint roller for $1 and 3 $0.25 toothbrushes. We matched our coupons with unadvertised clearence.

I Have Extra Quaker Coupons!

I have extra granola bar coupons if anyone wants them. I don't know how to get them to people but let me know if you want some. They are the $1.00/2 so it makes them $0.50 each. You can always go mud bogging in my driveway. Yikes!

Messy Girl

Broooke has always been a messy eater. However, things have intensified since she started attending nursery because she has learned how to dip everything in her drink. Tonight she had a great combo of milk, enchiladas, salsa and rice. YUM!

Play Dough

So I am teaching a couponing class for a Relief Society meeting next week and have been trying to post some of my latest deals to share with people. However, I realized that the purpose of my blog is to show off my kids, not my coupon savings. So here is our evening. Nothing exciting but I took the plunge and opened the cool present Bryan got the kids for Christmas so they could make Dad "pretend" dinner while I made him "real" dinner. I am a really bad mom and hate play dough because I hate cleaning it up. The kids had so much fun today (especially Brooke) I think I might let her play with it again sometime. Probably like in 6 months! Messes like this stress me out. I am way too uptight. It is crazy though how Brooke loves stuff like this so much more than Braxton. She could color, cut, and paint for hours. He only lasts about 15 minutes.

The Right Place at the Right Time

We went to Walmart to get bathroom scales (which we got for free) and ended up scoring the most amazing deals ever. We were able to get:

$2268.20 worth of merchandise for $187.36. It cost us $93 apiece and we figured we saved around 92% on all of this STUFF. The great part is this is only ReNae's half. Mine is at home hiding in the magic spot waiting to be brought out for Birthday's and Christmas's for years to come. I know this picture is hard to see so here are some of my favorites:

Trio Kings Castle: $74.97 on sale for $2.
Lego Space Galactic: 99.97 on sale for $8.
3 bathroom scales: Free because of coupons!
Huge green cooler: $52 on sale for $10.
Leap Frog Fridge Game: $24.97 for $2.
Disney Barbi Dresses: $17 for $1.
Barbi Dolls: $17.88 for $1.
And the list goes on and on and on and on! We are so lucky!

At Albertsons we spent $8.25 out of pocket and will get back a $5 rebate for the Windex.

No pictures from Rite Aid but we bought tampons, Olay face wash, Pantene shampoo and conditioner, 20 batteries, and NyQuil . After rebates we will have made around $10. I love Rite Aid!

You should have seen my car as I was driving home. I had pizza on my lap because there was no room for it and after an amazing day of shopping I was not about to cook.

Old Navy Shopping Trip

I was able to get all of this for around $50 at Old Navy's big sale that starts tomorrow!

This week's shopping trip!

This is what I was able to snag on Friday night. To start the night off Renae and I cashed in our November Rite Aid checks so we had money to spend. We each had $35 to start the night off with. I spent more than that but bottom line this all cost me $27.

Here is a break down of what I bought and where.

The first stop was Staples. The scissors and the paper was a dollar a piece. The pens and tape were free after rebate. Cost $4.

Next we went to Rite Aid. I love that store more and more when I realize if I do things like I am doing I should be able to eventually snag all household products for free. I got toothpaste, 2 mascara, Tylenol cold, 5 different lysol cleaners, 4 got2be stylers, 10 cans of nuts (cashews, and almonds), 6 small bottles of dish soap, 2 Listerine mouth wash, 4 (4 count) packages of GE light bulbs, and 2 gallons of milk. It cost around 30 out of pocket and I will get back a $10 rebate for nuts and $18 from Rite Aid. This cost around $2.

Last but not least is Albertsons. I love when they have doubles and catalinas printing. I was able to score 10 fruit snacks and 5 nature valley nut clusters and 2 boxes of Cheerios for around $3! I also bought 2 loaves of cheese ($8 ), 6 packages of chinet cups ($3), 20 yoplait yogurt ($2.50), 1 bottle of V-8 fusion ($0.50), and 5 vegetable steamers ($4.00). That is an Albertsons total of $21.

A grand total of $27 and a pantry full of STUFF.

I got mail!

I received the coupons for the pop I posted about earlier in the mail today. Now I will wait for a killer pop sale to use them.

Once There Was A Snowman

Braxton has wanted to build a snowman for a while now. This fall he picked out the eyes and nose and mouth rocks. He had been waiting for it to snow so we can build a snowman. New Years Day was the day.

First he and dad had a snowball fight and then they built a snowman.

Dad even had fun! Maybe even more fun than Braxton.
Now it is sitting in front of our living room window so we can look at it whenever we want.
