We didn't pose for pictures well today but I want to point out the new purse Brooke received for Valentines Day. She is loving it!

Good News!

Mr. Hawley (my superintendent) called me this morning with really good news. First, he told me I had a job FOR SURE in the district next year. For the past week he had led me to believe that I probably didn't. Also, he said that I FOR SURE didn't have to go back to college like I thought I had to. It was going to be really expensive, a huge time commitment for my family, and I was really dreading it. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. So it looks like I can plan on teaching in the same position and I can plan on being able to continue to work part-time. AWESOME!

My Day Off

It seems like I havn't had to work much lately. I had strep and then went back to work for an afternoon and now we have a 4 day weekend. Today is my last day off. It seems like I am unmotiviated to do anything. It is rainy outside, my driveway is a mess, and I want to play on the floor with the kids and make a mess instead of cleaning up the mess that is already there. It is 9:30.....lets see where the day takes me.

Where is Brooke-O?

Tonight I was busy getting dinner on the table and couldn't find Brooke anywhere. She is usually right in the middle of what I am doing so it was really odd. What made it even more unusual is when I called her she didn't come running. After searching through the house, I found her looking like this in my bathroom. She had got into my makeup and covered her face with my grey eye shadow. She was busy putting it all over herself. I was furious but not mad enough to make her pose for a picture before placing her in the shower.

Sick Days

We have had strep the last few days. Braxton started out by complaining that his mouth hurt on Monday. Silly me, I thought it was his teeth. He pointed to them! Then that night he went to bed way early and then he woke up screaming in pain so I knew there must be more. He had a fever too. So I took the day off on Tuesday, took him to the doctor, and got some antibiotics for him, Brooke, and myself. It was a good thing too because by 3:00 that afternoon I was in pain. We all had a wonderful nights sleep last night and had a very restful day. I was able to take off work again. Braxton and Brooke both played quietly and we did laundry, taxes and watched movies. We are not contagious any more so now it is time to get back to work and back to business around this place!

27 Dresses

I have decided that since my kids were spoiled and only were able to wear their church clothes once or twice before they outgrew them I needed pictures of them while they are wearing them because they are SO CUTE.
