This week's shopping trip!

This is what I was able to snag on Friday night. To start the night off Renae and I cashed in our November Rite Aid checks so we had money to spend. We each had $35 to start the night off with. I spent more than that but bottom line this all cost me $27.

Here is a break down of what I bought and where.

The first stop was Staples. The scissors and the paper was a dollar a piece. The pens and tape were free after rebate. Cost $4.

Next we went to Rite Aid. I love that store more and more when I realize if I do things like I am doing I should be able to eventually snag all household products for free. I got toothpaste, 2 mascara, Tylenol cold, 5 different lysol cleaners, 4 got2be stylers, 10 cans of nuts (cashews, and almonds), 6 small bottles of dish soap, 2 Listerine mouth wash, 4 (4 count) packages of GE light bulbs, and 2 gallons of milk. It cost around 30 out of pocket and I will get back a $10 rebate for nuts and $18 from Rite Aid. This cost around $2.

Last but not least is Albertsons. I love when they have doubles and catalinas printing. I was able to score 10 fruit snacks and 5 nature valley nut clusters and 2 boxes of Cheerios for around $3! I also bought 2 loaves of cheese ($8 ), 6 packages of chinet cups ($3), 20 yoplait yogurt ($2.50), 1 bottle of V-8 fusion ($0.50), and 5 vegetable steamers ($4.00). That is an Albertsons total of $21.

A grand total of $27 and a pantry full of STUFF.

I got mail!

I received the coupons for the pop I posted about earlier in the mail today. Now I will wait for a killer pop sale to use them.

Once There Was A Snowman

Braxton has wanted to build a snowman for a while now. This fall he picked out the eyes and nose and mouth rocks. He had been waiting for it to snow so we can build a snowman. New Years Day was the day.

First he and dad had a snowball fight and then they built a snowman.

Dad even had fun! Maybe even more fun than Braxton.
Now it is sitting in front of our living room window so we can look at it whenever we want.
